L.A. Noire
L.A. Noire is a new game soon to be published by Rockstar Games. You play as a detective that is trying to solve murders in 1940's Los Angeles. One of the reasons I'm looking forward to this game is the detail of the characters. A new MotionScan system was used which captures an actor's facial expressions in amazing detail with 32 cameras that surround the actor completely to get every angle.

Technology has come so far in just the last 5 years. 3d, VR, motion capture ... once it all comes together in another 5-10 we will start seeing Star Trek like tech for gaming. just without the huge "holosuite"
